My vote for my choice

As soon as an ad comes onto the TV screen we promptly change the channel in the hope of seeing something new and to be relieved from the boredom of watching the same ads again and again. Things have changed and Pepsi has just turned the tables on us. We have to watch the ads if we want to vote and if we want our favorite ad to come out a winner. In the gallery of videos there are the ads of not only the Finalists but of all those who have submitted their video ads. The final winning People’s Choice Pepsi IPL Ad would be featured on the TV during the last leg of the Pepsi IPL. It will not be chosen by the esteemed jury like the rest of the ads, but it will be chosen by the people of India, who will vote for their favorite ads and send them straight to TV screens during the Pepsi IPL. Just as the tension mounts before the final overs of a cricket match and every one watches with a bated breath as to who would turn out to be a winner similar is the situation here. After all we have exercised our voting power and we want to know as to which ad would turn out to be the winner. There are a variety of ads in the ad gallery. These ads give us an insight into the working of human minds. When we view the ads we find different thinking to come out in the forefront. We learn what Pepsi means to different people which are visible in their treatment of the story line. After having gone through the ads I have short listed a few of them which I have found to be interesting in their concept and presentation.

This seems an interesting advertisement. The guy is enjoying food with Pepsi. The bell rings and he opens the door. The courier guys gives him a letter and offers the pen to sign but the pen is not working so the guy goes inside the house to get the pen. The courier guys sees the Pepsi and can’t stop himself from stealing the Pepsi. The guy comes back with the pen and signs. After closing the door he sees his missing Pepsi so what does he do he simply grabs another bottle. This way both the guy and the courier guy enjoy their favorite Pepsi. Its beg, borrow and steal for the love of Pepsi.

This advertisement catches everyone's attention. Cricket is like a passion for every Indian. We are so crazy for cricket that even repetitive viewing of the highlights does not make us feel bored. The video captures our attention for sure. The one man team grabs our attention till last. The commentary is well said. And at last it’s revealed that the boy is playing for the trophy which is none other than the Pepsi can. It’s a very engrossing ad.
Finally is the ad for which I would like to vote for.

This is the advertisement which is a winner for me. I just love it. There is suspense, a mystery in this. A couple is shown. There is a unique chemistry between them. A special bonding and romance is visible. The guy always asks the girl "Abhi" and the girl just smiles and ignores his Abhi. The couple is shown at different places but the guys question remains the same Abhi?
This creates immense suspense. The guy first gifts a flower to the girl and asks Abhi?
Then they are seen in a elevator where the guy standing in front of them also wonders what they mean by Abhi. Then the girl goes to the changing room where also the guys says Abhi but the girl just smiles as always and doesn’t answer the guy. But at last the girl speaks up and says Abhi. The guy takes out the Pepsi and takes a sip. So at last the suspense is over.
This is a very interesting concept and a sure shot hit.

My choice

India is one of the biggest democracy of the world, and we Indians are very proud of this fact and take it seriously. Living in a democracy gives us the right to vote for all the important things, and thus all of us have a say in deciding the fate of whatever requires voting. Voting is our right and now Pepsi has given us the chance to exercise our voting power and change the fates of all those people who have put their creativity to test and toiled hard by making ads for #CrashThePepsiIPL!
India’s biggest superpower is of course voting, and it can be seen used everywhere. From the task of choosing who will run the country, to which new talent should win a reality show and which contestant’s antics on camera entertained you the most, to who is going to be the hottest celebrity of the year, we use the power of our finger to cast our vote. Now its the time for us to use this power to help the common man like us to get the fame and glory that they have earned.
I visited the gallery to view the ads created for crash the IPL. Seeing the great number of ads there confirmed the popularity of IPL and the people’s response and enthusiasm in creating these ads. Different concepts have been used most creatively by the participants. These video ads are quite interesting to watch. They give us an insight into the way people connect Pepsi and IPL. The participants have employed different techniques and methods to make their ads ranging from animation to live shots. The quality of ads easily differentiates the novice from the talented. They can be easily recognized by their picture quality, sound and presentation.
There are quite a number of ads which have caught my attention and are worth mentioning. An ad by Koninica Dasgupta It's not just a Soft Drink is my favorite takes the meaning of the abhi concept to a very different level. It shows how the friendship between a girl and a boy gets stronger with each Pepsi that they drink together. The ad culminates with the girl getting a pleasant surprise when she finds a proposal ring in a glass which previously had Pepsi.

There are a few more which I have found to be interesting like:
The video by Nikita Deshpande is worth watching. It shows how the IPL with its so many teams bring in so much of diversity yet Pepsi is the binding force and the common factor that bond food and people of all regions. “Its abhi” or the time to drink a Pepsi. It is a simple, comprehensive and refreshing ad just like a Pepsi.

Then the ad by SATISH PALACHOLLA who has put together a video called tribal cricket. This ad is very different in its concept. Instead of film stars, cricketers or other celebrities being featured in a Pepsi Ad in this Ad we find a bunch of tribal’s playing cricket and to complete the scene is the tribal lingo and then comes the leader of the tribe who drinks Pepsi and hits a cricketing shot. This interpretation of the Pepsi concept of abhi is very different

Wonderfruit

Amla which is often used in chutneys, pickles, jams or murabbas at home.Amla, or Indian gooseberry is also known as wonderfruit which without doubt is really a wonderfruit.

Amla can be used or consumed raw, dried as powder or as juice. It has so many benefits its really amazing.Amla in any form is full of benefits.

Amla is my favorite because its a great source of vitamin C.
Consume raw amla daily instead of vitamin C supplements which are not easily absorbed by the body.

Amla is a antioxidant, and very beneficial in  ulcer prevention, for people with diabetes, for mental and memory enhancement, and has anti-inflammatory benefits.

Numerous Benefits of Consuming Amla:

  • Cures Sore Throat and Cold
  • Reduces Constipation
  • Heals Mouth Ulcers
  • Heals Arthritis: It has anti-inflammatory properties which help in reducing the swelling and joint pain of knees caused due to arthritis. Have raw amla or amla juice daily in the morning.

  • Boosts Immunity
  • Amla increases the haemoglobin level in blood, the RBC (red blood cells) count and purifies blood

  • Amla reduces the risk of gall stone formation in the gall bladder. When there is excess cholesterol in the   bile, gall stones are formed.Amla helps in reducing them as it contains vitamin C, which converts the cholesterol into bile acid in the liver. Therefore include amla in your daily diet to cut down the risk of gall bladder stones.
  • It helps cure infections, ulcers and reduces fever due to its anti bacterial, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Drinking amla juice early in the morning on an empty stomach is a natural tonic to prevent scurvy and jaundice.
  • Delays Pre-Mature Ageing:  Amla helps to reduce the effects of pre mature ageing, wrinkles and fine lines.
  • Amla oil is being used since ancient times for hair growth and as a cure for hair loss.
  • It is been used from centuries to control pre mature greying of the hair.

  • The “wonder fruit” is well known to cure diabetes naturally.Amla is rich in chromium which regulates the carbohydrate metabolism and makes the body more responsive to insulin, which reduces the blood glucose levels.Mix 2-3 teaspoons of amla powder or juice in a glass of water and consume daily.

In the fast moving life I wanted to use Amla 24x7 in a way in which I can relish it without any guilt.
    Then I discovered Organic India's
